What Pegboard is

A record-keeping tool. It tracks chores and what a parent owes for them. It is not a bank, a wallet, or a payment service, and no money passes through it.

Who can use it

An adult creates a household and is responsible for it. Children use accounts their parent creates. Nobody under 13 signs themselves up.

Money between you

What a parent owes a child is between them. Pegboard records it accurately and never edits the record, but it takes no part in the arrangement and cannot enforce it.

Photos, and reporting one

Proof photos are off unless a parent turns them on in settings. If they are on, only people in that household ever see them, and each one is deleted on the household's own retention schedule.

A photo can be reported from the approvals screen, where a parent sees it. It is hidden from everyone the moment it is reported, before anybody reviews it, and we then either delete it for good or put it back. To report one you can't reach, including your own or one somebody else took, email hello@getpegboard.co.uk and say what you saw and where; we act on reports about a child's safety the same day.

Don't upload photographs of other people's children, anything that identifies where a child lives beyond your own household, or anything illegal. We remove content that breaks this and can close a household over it.

Ending it

Delete the household at any time from settings; everything goes with it. We give notice before any change that materially affects you.
